This summer, Sparks Film School invites young filmmakers aged 5-18 to explore the thrilling world of action cinema through our Action, Replay themed summer camps 2025.
From Back to the Future to Inception, some of cinema’s most memorable moments play with time-inspired storytelling in creative ways. This summer, we’re putting these powerful tools into the hands of young filmmakers, who are set to produce their own movie masterpieces.
During this year’s movie making camps, young filmmakers will master:
• Time travel sequences and special effects, including how to create magical portals
• Non-linear storytelling techniques, including how to create effective flash backs/flash forwards
• Crafting fun, mind-bending time loops
• Building parallel universe narratives and multiple split character narratives
They will explore lots of different playful techniques under the creative theme’s banner, before choosing their favourites to apply to their very own movie production. Working as a young film crew, they will work together to produce their own original film from scratch, taking on lots of different responsibilities on both sides of the camera.
