October Half Term Camps
In action-packed October half term camp with Sparks Film School, young movie makers ages 5-14 learn all about how to make their own movie production.
The young filmmakers work just like a real film crew to produce their own film productions from start to finish, just like on a real film set.
They develop their own story and script, before shooting and starring in the production. Everyone experiences the different creative and technical roles you find on the film set.
Young crews step into the shoes of director, camera crew, producers, actors, editors, designers and even more as they work together to make their own original movie.
Along the way, the learn lots of new creative skills, explore their imaginations and develop soft and social skills, such as teamwork and communication.
At the end of the camp, they will have their own creative movie production to watch and enjoy with you.
It’s an action-packed experience, full of fun and creative learning for everyone taking part.

Studio 1:
Ages 5-7
Join our wolf pack for filmmaking fun! In Little Howlers, our youngest filmmakers will create their own film production full of their own mischievous wolfie wanderers, inspired by the wolves of folklore and fairytales, as well as favourite animal characters from the screen.
The young filmmakers will produce lots of fun wolf costumes and design effects, they will explore camera tricks and creative storytelling to make a special adventure movie full of half term fun!
Studio 2-3:
Ages 7-11
Get ready for the full moon!
In this action-packed adventure filmmaking camp, young filmmakers taking part will produce and star in their own spine-tingling werewolf production full of special fx!
Moon Howlers is set to be an epic October half term camp, full of terrifying transformations.
Expect lots of camera and production design challenges as filmmakers capture their creatures in the wild.
Studio 4:
Ages 11-14
Do you love scary movies?
Learn all the secrets of writing one! In ‘Beware’, young filmmakers aged 11-14 will explore scary screenwriting techniques. They will learn how to create tension and suspense and how to play with plenty of genre conventions.
Filmmakers taking part will write and workshop their own screenplay scenes and produce a unique showcase of screen tests to bring their writing to life.
