Congratulations to the Studio 5 filmmakers behind the film How Do You Feel?, the production has just been selected for screening as part of the Northampton Film Festival!
How Do You Feel? is a surreal short film that explores different emotions and issues of mental health through captivating, visual sequences.
The film was produced by Studio 5 crew members from Sparks Film School in Highgate last year and has since won an award with Into Film.
We’ve also just learned that the film has now been selected as part of the Northampton Film Festival 2023. The Northampton Film Festival seeks to use “the powerful world of Film to empower Northants residents, shine a spotlight on Northamptonshire, and contribute to a stronger identity and economy for the county.
The NFF showcases the best filmmakers with a connection to Northamptonshire and those from around Great Britain who embody Northants’ unique independent spirit: Northamptonshire is a county of Rebels and Revolutionaries, Misfits and Mavericks, Creatives and Changemakers.“
Initially launched in 2019, the NFF has gone from strength to to strength, expanding this year to feature length entries as well as short films. Every year, the NFF champions a particular theme and in 2023, it is Show Us What You’ve Got.
Last year, the festival received over 900 entries from independent filmmakers, professionals and production companies, so we’re delighted for the young crew members to have been selected and recognised for their incredible work on How Do You Feel?
The film will be part of the festival programme, screening around Northamptonshire and UK-wide roadshow events between 22nd May – 4th June 2023.
