At Sparks Film School, our animation classes help young people aged 5 – 18 turn screen time into something meaningful. Guided by DBS-checked industry creatives, students explore stop motion, claymation, storytelling, character design and visual creativity in a fun and supportive environment.
Animation develops imagination, patience, problem-solving and original thinking, the kind of creative human skills that technology and AI cannot replace. Through hands-on projects, young animators learn how to bring their ideas to life while building confidence and learning professional creative techniques.
From designing characters to creating their own animated films, Sparks gives young people an exciting introduction to the world of animation while helping them grow creatively, socially and technically.
Times: 10.00am-12.00pm
Dates: Autumn Term 2026: 12th September – 5th December 2026 (3 weeks off for half term from 17th-31st October)
Venue: Sacred Heart Primary School, 40 St Mark’s Road, Teddington TW11 9DD
Age Groups:
Studio 2 (ages 7-9, school years 3-4)
Studio 3 (ages 9-11, school years 5-6)
Studio 4 (ages 11-14, School Years 7-9)
Membership:
Monthly: £81.25 per month
Termly: £325.00 per term
Membership is available on a termly basis, which is automatically renewable each term. Members are required to give at least one half term’s notice of cancellation.
For membership on the monthly payment plan, each term is payable over 4 monthly instalments.
