One-Day Documentary Filmmaking Workshop for Ages 11-14

Are you interested in Documentary Filmmaking? Level up your skills and delve into the art of sharing true stories on screen.

In this hands-on workshop, students will unlock the secrets of documentary filmmaking, whilst sharpening their ideas and filmmaking skills.

Young filmmakers taking part will:

• Learn some of the powerful techniques used by documentary and investigative filmmakers to capture remarkable true stories on screen
• Explore their own interests, ideas and stories as a basis for their work
• Experiment with different formats for documentary storytelling
• Eplore how to create atmosphere and distinctive style as a documentarian
• Get hands-on experience of self-shooting in a live environment

This workshop is ideal for young people who:

• Passionate about telling true stories on screen
• Love making videos and want to make them even better

Edit Suite: The edit suite is equipped with 16 iMacs, each loaded with the latest editing software. This space is designed to facilitate a smooth and efficient post-production process, allowing you to bring your vision to life with precision and creativity.

Filming Locations: We offer a wide choice of filming locations, both indoors and outdoors. From modern interiors to scenic outdoor settings, you’ll find the perfect backdrop for every scene. Our diverse locations ensure that you have the flexibility to shoot a variety of scenes without leaving the venue.
