Sparks Filmmaking Classes in Glasgow South are at Glasgow Clyde College at the Langside Campus, 50 Prospecthill Rd, Glasgow, G42 9LB
Sparks filmmaking classes ignite imagination, build confidence and encourage a host of new skills. Young filmmakers learn all about the different aspects of filmmaking in our fun and friendly filmmaking classes. Over each 10-week term, filmmakers produce a short film with their crew. Crews are maximum 15 young people of similar age range. When registering, pick the studio by your young filmmakers age:
- Studio 2 (Ages 7-9): 10am – 12pm
- Studio 3 (Ages 9-11): 10am – 12pm
- Studio 4 (Ages 11-14): 1pm – 3pm
- Monthly: £62.50 per month over 12 months (charged monthly)
- Termly: £250.00 per 10-week term (charged every four months to cover the three academic terms)

Membership is available on a monthly/termly basis, which is automatically renewable each month or each term as selected. Members are required to give at least one month’s notice of cancellation. Please take a look at our Terms & Conditions for more details.

Term time dates for Saturday Filmmaking Courses
Each term our young filmmakers produce a new film over the course of ten meetings with their studio crew.
Autumn 2023 term dates:
Sep 30, Oct 7, Oct 14, Oct 28, Nov 4, 11, 18, 25, Dec 2, 9
No Saturday class Oct 21st due to half term.
No Saturday meetings Dec 16-6 Jan.
Spring 2024 term dates:
Jan 13, Jan 20, Jan 27, Feb 3, Feb 10, Feb 24, Mar 2, Mar 9, Mar 16, Mar 23
No Saturday class Feb 17 due to half term and no Saturday meeting Mar 30 or Apr 6 during Easter break. You will be able to register for Easter Apr 8-12 holiday camp in early 2024.
Summer 2024 term dates:
Apr 13, Apr 20, Apr 27, May 4, May 11, May 18, Jun 1, Jun 8, Jun 15, Jun 22
No Saturday class May 25 due to half term. Summer camps will start late June.
