At Sparks Film School Bath, our filmmaking classes help young people aged 7–14 turn screen time into something meaningful. Working with professional film equipment and guided by DBS-checked industry filmmakers, students learn directing, camera operation, acting, screenwriting, editing, teamwork and creative confidence in a fun and supportive environment.
From creating their own short films to developing original ideas and working as part of a real film crew, Sparks gives young people hands-on experience in the world of filmmaking while building valuable life skills along the way.
Before the launch of our Autumn Term 2026, we’re offering new students the opportunity to book a single trial class for just £25. It’s the perfect chance to experience Sparks, meet our tutors, get hands-on with professional film equipment, and discover why so many young filmmakers love our classes before committing to the full term.
