This summer our animators will explore character design, storytelling techniques and make an animated short to be proud of!
Young creatives ages 7-14 are invited to join us at one of our action-packed summer animated movie camps. Over the course of a week, young creatives practice 2D and stop motion animation techniques, working on story, character and set creation and work in small crews to write, create, direct, film, and edit their animated short. The camp is hands-on and always a lot of fun. Those new to Sparks will get plenty of support with the foundational skills, and returning filmmakers will also enjoy new masterclasses and challenges to build on their previous experience. Whether your young creative is already passionate about animated film, or perhaps just interested in a creative camp, it’s a great way for them to develop skills, make new friends, and create something you can be really proud of.
Camps run Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm. A screening for parents and carers takes place at 2:30 on the last day so you can celebrate your campers hard work!
Two date options available:
📅 June 29th – July 3rd 2026, 9am – 3pm
📅 August 3rd – 7th 2026, 9am – 3pm
Camps are at:
