One-Day Editing Workshop for Ages 11-14

Young filmmakers taking part will explore:

• Professional editing techniques using industry-standard software
  • Storytelling through cuts, transitions, and pacing
  • Sound design and music to enhance emotion
  • Colour grading to set the perfect mood
  • Essential shortcuts and workflow tips
  • Creative problem-solving in post-production

Get hands-on experience with Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro while editing your own sequence. You’ll learn how editing choices can completely transform a scene – from building suspense to creating comedy timing.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have edited your own short film sequence and understand why editors are often called the final storytellers of film.

Edit Suite: The edit suite is equipped with 16 iMacs, each loaded with the latest editing software. This space is designed to facilitate a smooth and efficient post-production process, allowing you to bring your vision to life with precision and creativity.

Filming Locations: We offer a wide choice of filming locations, both indoors and outdoors. From modern interiors to scenic outdoor settings, you’ll find the perfect backdrop for every scene. Our diverse locations ensure that you have the flexibility to shoot a variety of scenes without leaving the venue.
