We are thrilled to announce that two films by Sparks Film Students have been selected for screening at the Barnes Film Festival!
Chair Farm and How Do You Feel? have both been selected for official entry to the Barnes Film Festival.
This will be the first film festival entry for Chair Farm.
Chair Farm is a short film production made by Studio 5 filmmakers (ages 14-18) at Sparks Film School Balham. It’s a popular favourite amongst Sparks Film School staff, students and amongst the community on our YouTube channel. We are so happy to see Chair Farm receive the recognition it deserves for its originality and creativity!
How Do You Feel?, which has just been screened at the internationally acclaimed Northampton Film Festival, and also won the IntoFilm Film of the Month award recently, this represents another success and a great opportunity for the film to be seen by a wider audience.
How Do You Feel? Was created by our Studio 5 at Sparks Film School Highgate in their weekly classes. The film was very recently screened at Northampton Film Festival at the Northampton Filmhouse as part of the 16 years and under competition. We are so proud of the filmmakers for all they have achieved with this fantastic film!

Barnes Film Festival, or ‘BFF’, London’s Riverside Film Festival founded in 2016 by Sam Cullis, is now preparing for its eighth edition, which takes place June 2023.
The festival showcases filmmaking talent from across the UK together with award-winning films from around the world.BFF, London’s Riverside Film Festival celebrates diversity, passion and creativity, and connects all filmmakers – and anybody interested in film – with industry professionals.
The festival has seen some of its films go onto the global stage, and it has launched many careers in the UK Film and TV industry. We are so excited to be a part of the BFF 2023! The festival will be taking place online from the 23rd-30th June, the organisers invite you to watch all the films screened with us!
