As we say goodbye to the summer holidays and the Summer Shoots, we’re excited about the workshops and opportunities we have planned for young filmmakers through the Autumn Term at Sparks Film Schools…

Filmmaking Classes – Finishing Touches
Filmmaking classes start back up from September at Sparks Film Schools around the UK, with a brand new theme for young filmmakers to dive into and explore.
Young filmmakers joining weekly film classes build up a host of creative and technical skills across the whole spectrum of filmmaking.

This term, the theme is Finishing Touches…
This term, Filmmaking students will explore the art of construction and learn how to add impactful and meaningful details to the finish of their productions. This will include both production details (e.g. shooting) and post-production (e.g. editing) too.
As part of this term, students taking part in filmmaking classes are set to explore:
- Approaches to Post-Production
- The role of Sound
- Scoring
- Post-Production effects
- Custom titles and credit sequences
They will also develop their fundamental filmmaking skills, following our Filmmaking Syllabus, and work towards a new collection of film productions.
